The project stems from the “Ultragreen Exhibition & Fashion Show” initiative, allowing students and independent designers themselves to create innovative garments and fabrics by reusing existing materials to produce something entirely new, thus countering the excessive production of textile waste.
The implementation plan for this project was made possible through Revibe, an online marketplace (https://www.revibe-upcycling.com/en), which features carefully selected 50 European designers within its digital store, adhering to essential ethical principles of the company. It offers over 600 handmade products that can also be personalized and custom-made according to consumer orders, thereby avoiding waste and material excess.
