SARTORIA A. CARACENI AWARD
During the Fashion Show, in an evening dedicated to fashion and innovation, Sartoria A.Caraceni awarded a prestigious prize to a young and talented student from Ferrari Fashion School. The event, which brought together designers, industry experts, and fashion enthusiasts, was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the success and innovation of our students in the fashion industry.
The Caraceni tailoring house was founded by Augusto Caraceni, an Italian tailor born in 1893. Together with his brothers, he learned the art of tailoring from their father and gained fame in Paris in the ’30s. He opened a tailoring house in Milan in 1946, which still dresses high-profile figures in the world of high fashion. The tailoring house stands out for its use of high-quality fabrics and natural materials, showcasing expertise in the art of bespoke tailoring. The Sartoria presented the award to Valentina Lacatena, a young fashion promise who has shown exceptional talent in the field of Fashion Design. The prize included a commemorative silver plaque, an engraved pair of scissors, and, last but not least, a trip to Paris for two.
We thank the tailoring house for honoring us with this award and for their presence during AQUA, Fashion Show & Exhibition; we will surely continue this close collaboration in the future.
