Archetipo: NEW WAVE
“We are delighted today to share the conclusion of the ‘New Wave’ project with you.
The primary aim of this initiative was to breathe new life into old garments through upcycling, made possible through the valuable collaboration with Archetipo, a company with a dual role: on one hand, a historic fabric store, and on the other, a vintage shop with a refined selection.
The project engaged five groups of students, each working on 4-5 pieces provided by Archetipo, transforming them into genuine fashion artworks. This challenge demanded free and deliberate creativity, aiming to attract Archetipo’s clientele through innovation and the wearability of the new creations.
It was a unique opportunity for collaborative work and facing the needs of a real client, putting into practice the skills acquired during their studies. It was an experience that encouraged collaboration among students from different educational paths, working together toward a common goal, prioritizing teamwork over individual approaches.
We extend our gratitude to Archetipo for providing the vintage pieces and believing in the vision and creativity of our students. Their collaboration was fundamental for the success of this project, and we are thankful for the opportunity they offered to our young designers to apply their skills and experience the fashion industry firsthand.
A special thank you also goes to all the students of Ferrari Fashion School who participated in this project. You showed extraordinary passion, unparalleled attention to detail, and boundless dedication in creating unique and exceptional fashion pieces. Your commitment and talent were key to the success of this project, and we are extremely proud of you.
We are confident that these experiences will reflect in their future as fashion designers, contributing to fueling innovation and excellence in the industry.”
