Aqua
Ferrari Fashion School is committed to nurturing new talents through artistic-cultural research and today presents the AQUA project.
In a time when the impact of human actions on the environment is critical, the fashion world aims to adapt to new rhythms and social values linked to respect for nature and the conservation of water resources.
As a key player in fashion education, Ferrari Fashion School, aware of the significant impact fashion has on water usage, chooses to take the lead by launching a dedicated project focusing on documenting and analyzing sustainable practices adopted by the fashion industry. Additionally, it aims to promote new innovative solutions to mitigate the negative impact on water.
The project involves initiating various research activities, supported by collaboration with industry experts, sustainable fashion companies, and environmental organizations. The goal is to gather information and data on sustainable practices and advancements in this field. Moreover, it includes organizing a series of events and activities involving the community, such as exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and fashion shows, shedding light on and fostering the development of working groups on this important theme.
The culminating event will feature a Fashion Show involving Academy students and a static exhibition of projects centered on the theme, set to take place on June 29, 2023, at Alcatraz in Milan.
